I hate Malaysian studies !!

Im pretty sure they ensured us that the stuff we will be doing in Malaysian studies will be different from what we did in Sejarah during our secondary school years, but appearantly it turns out to be exactly the same thing. I really wonder why they make us do this stuff over and over again… I was really glad after form 5 because i thought that the nightmare of ever having to turn another page of the sejarah book was over, but i couldn’t have been any wronger.

So here I am, in my University years and still forced to learn about how Parameswara betrayed Singapore, how the Sultans stupidly sold our country to foreigners and how we had to practically get down on their knees to beg the Brittish to give our country back. Its rather embarassing to learn that your country was once ruled by threacherous people, fools and cowards… and I see history repeating itself even in present times.

On top of that, we have the most boring lecturer who ever walked the face of the Earth. When i say boring, i mean BORING!! He doesn’t really teaches. He just reads stuff out of the text book at a horribly slow pace, ignores our questions, and just drones on and on for the whole one and a halve hour. It is a miracle not to fall asleep during his lectures if you actually listen to what he says, so the best way to keep awake is to do your homework during lectures.

Well, thats about it la… better start getting to work on the stupid Malaysian studies assignment which I’ve been procrastinating for weeks…
